It won't do anything to tell you where he is, but if you target him, or mouse over him, it will ding and send up a raid warning to get your attention. You can use a rare spawn tracker to assist you. Spirit Strike will also not crit at the moment, but all his melee abilities do crit and are effected by Longevity (I also have always had those talent points anyways for a shorter CD on Bestial Wrath.) It will not be reduced to 7 seconds, because the spell takes 10 seconds to complete. (direct damage and then direct damage after 10seconds.) There is NO DOT, however it is slightly bugged and is being treated as a dot on your combat log, which means that the Longevity talent points do not effect his Spirit Strike. His family is NOT cat, it's in it's own family tree called Spirit Beast which the family special ability is Spirit Strike, which is similar to moonfire. He falls under the ferocity tree for talents. If at any time you need to change to MM or Surv for a bit, he will be safe in your stable till you respec. Some things to note though: you DO need to be an exotic BM spec to tame him. The screenies here don't pay him justice. I died the first time when he jumped over the trap and I had him and an add beating on me, but the second time I followed the tips above and got him. Which brings me to my next point - clear all the adds before hand because they will become a nuicense. Place the trap directly at your feet and do not step back, because when he engages you, he leaps right to you and the first attempt I had, he lept right over the trap and an add ran into the trap. Ensure the second you see him (if you are on a high population server like I am) you shoot him once to tag him so he's no use to any other hunter or achievement $%^&*.

you're not going to be able to tame him without a trap down and live the full casting time). He is elite and hits relatively hard (ie. He spawns roughly every 8-10 hours (Someone had killed him at 3:30am and then he respawned at 12:10pm PDT). The one by the cats is where he spawned for me. It's Tuesday maintenance right now so I will have to add the actual coords later, but they are 58.21 (shown on the map here), to the east by the gorillas right beside the waterfall, the south east at the hive near the wasps, the south west corner (can't think of anything to note around this one), and to the west by all the cats on a rock. and my server is huge (23k players, 30% are hunters, a large percent are achievement trying to get him for Northern Exposure, and an even larger percent are just immature players who like to make everyone's lives horrible!) So here is some info that should hopefully assist the rest of the hunters out there hoping to have him for their own: I found it really hard because there is not a lot of info on him. I was the first alliance to get him on my server (one blood elf got to him before me). I tamed him last night and had been camping him day and night for 8 days.

Was worried at first with where he spawned, thinking horde would gank me or someone else would kill him before the tame was over. Had been searching the past 5 or 6 days about five hours a day for him, so was pretty pumped when my /tar loq macro finaly bought up something.
